Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, management
- At least 5 years’ experience in a sustainable investing function with a credible asset owner or asset manager (preferably with international expertise)
- Significant sustainable investing knowledge on topics such as: exclusion policies; ESG integration approaches; themed/impact investment; active ownership; climate change; sustainable development goals; new regulatory landscape on Sustainable Finance
- Solid understanding of sustainable investing initiatives (i.e. UN PRI, TCFD, SASB, CA100+)
- Solid understanding of the investment process of an asset owner/manager, in relation to different asset classes (Public Corporate/Sovereign as well as Real Asset – Private Equity, Debt and Real Estate)
- Solid understanding of the MS Office suite
- Familiarity with financial software (Bloomberg, Eikon, FactSet etc.)
- Experience with sustainable data providers with an understanding of their granular methodologies
Nice to have
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate research findings in both written and spoken format
- Analytical and Research skills, Strong attention to detail, ability to summarize Expertise on key ESG themes, such as climate change
- Comfortable collaborating closely with senior managers
- Able to work independently and establish/maintain working relationships internally and externally
- Change management skills
- Client focused and pragmatic
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and build multi-stakeholder relationships
