Cloud Network Engineer
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Network TLC or equivalent experience acquired during working experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the Cloud Network services.
- Fluent English (at least CEFR B2, written/spoken).
- At least 1 Certification in the Cloud area, preferred in Cloud network topics (i.e. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Certification, AWS Advanced Networking Specially Certification, CCNP, CCNA).
- Experience with Transit Network VPCs, including VPC Peering, or AWS Transit Gateway
Skills:
- Functional and operational knowledge of network features of Amazon Web Service cloud (must).
- Functional and operational knowledge of network features of Google Cloud Platform cloud (preferred).
- Functional knowledge of network features of Microsoft Azure cloud (nice to have).
- Communication and interpersonal relations management skills in an international environment.
- Functional knowledge of main application development models and tools (agile, DevOps).
- Functional knowledge of networks, operative systems, security solutions (i.e. service designs, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, GRE, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NAT, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, or packet analysis etc.).
- Functional knowledge of Web application technologies.
- Microsoft Office suite usage (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Communication skills: In executing their duties, cloud network engineers may be required to work in a team of engineers, or interface with clients acting as consultants to them. It is important that she/he has solid verbal and written communication capabilities to deal with people, provide reports, and generate implementation documentation.
Notes/Preferences:
- Hybrid working scheme (40% onsite, 60% remote).
- Availability to travel internationally (Europe), at most 20% of the time.
