Group Strategic Planning & Control - Investment Unit Analyst

Within the CFO aea we are looking for Group Strategic Planning & Control - Investment Unit Analyst. The job holder will be involved within the Group Investment Unit function in activities related to the Investments Monitoring and Controlling at Group level. In this role, the candidate will report to the Head of Group Investment Unit Function and He/She will liaise with the other structure of the Head Office on the Investment across the Group, as well with the GCIO Function and the Asset Management (GIAM, GIP, GRE) and with the other reporting structure within the GCFO and the GCRO Area.

Key responsabilities of the role will include:

  • Monitoring and Controlling the group investment portfolio, on all asset classes, with the aim to check strategic target compliance
  • Deep level Analysis of the whole set of information from different asset sources (accounting, asset managers) to identify the drivers of the main investment KPI
  • Support the GCFO office in the official internal and external disclosure
  • Maintaining relations with Group and Local Unit Finance reference people (Local Finance Investment teams at country level)
  • Interface with other Group HO Departments (GCFO and GCRO area)


Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have

  • Economic or similar financial degree
  • Deep knowledge of financial instruments reference data
  • Knowledge of International Accounting principles
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong process mindset
  • High personal motivation, strong team working and interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure
  • Flexibility, integration and speed in support the process
  • Fluent English

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of German and French could be a plus
  • Specific knowledge on private debt instruments, security lending, Alternative fixed Income could be a plus
  • Specific knowledge on hedging instruments
  • IFRS9/17 accounting principle is a plus
