The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have

  • Advanced University education in Business Administration / Accounting or Finance / Engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of investments, asset management and internal control processes.
  • Previous experience (minimum 2-3 years) in the Asset Management or Banking sector, preferably working in the external/internal audit or Risk Management.
  • Good knowledge of main Asset Classes, including Derivatives.
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English.
  • Good knowledge of computer work and advanced command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access).
  • International mindset and commitment to travel both in Italy and abroad, mainly US and UK, up to 50% of working time whether required.

Nice to have

  • Previous work experience in the US and/or UK Asset Management or Banking sector.
  • Good knowledge of external regulatory framework governing the Asset Management and financial sector in US and/or UK.
  • Good knowledge of Alternative Investments Funds, Alternative Asset Classes, Private Equity, Private Debt will be a distinctive plus.
  • Previous experience in Asset Management or Banking other relevant business functions such as Trading, Portfolio Management, Middle-Back Office, Compliance.
  • Experience with forensic auditing and professional certification (ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE).
  • Good knowledge of Data Analytics tools (e.g. IDEA) and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
  • Written and spoken proficiency in French and/or German.
  • Analytical skills and ability to manage time in an effective manner.
  • Team spirit.
  • Presentation skills and ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to keep up to date on new developments in the audit field.
  • Comfortable to deal with and able to communicate effectively within the Audit Team, with managers of higher seniority and with Auditees.
  • Able to work across teams and on different subjects.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
