Generali Real Estate SpA’s integrated business model covers the full scope of asset management activities and the entire real estate value chain. A series of cross-border investment vehicles, managed by the specialized asset manager GRE SGR, aims to create long-term value for investors with a core/core+ profile by investing in assets characterized by good locations, high liquidity and strong underlying leasing dynamics. The portfolio under management comprises a unique mix of historical and modern properties, ranging from landmark buildings to new architectural masterpieces, which has enabled the company to develop best-in-class skills in the fields of technological innovation, sustainability and urban development.

By managing all the GRE digital transformation projects, improving and optimizing the GRE IT landscape and managing all GRE business data, the IT-team is responsible for the management of enterprise architecture and infrastructure, real estate business applications and digitalization. The tasks of the unit also include the administration of office hardware/software as well as reporting and RPA technical development.

The ideal candidate will work on the following activities:

  • In charge of the management of global software platforms, in particular finance ERP system (S/4HANA): user requests, application maintenance, integrations
  • Guides, manages and supports external providers to set-up, maintain and operate global ERP system monitoring the service levels
  • Analyzes data to proactively identify possible issues to be addressed to the responsible departments or the technical partner
  • Manages the requests of the business functions regarding new functionalities or the adaption of existing ones
  • Supports future software projects in collaboration with internal and external service providers
  • Will support the main Corporate projects related to Digitalization and Business Transformation

Core competencies:

  • Academic degree in IT, business informatics or Scientific disciplines
  • First experience in IT, Operations, Data/ Reporting functions within Financial or Asset Management firms
  • German and English fluently, international minded
  • Interpersonal, communication and multi-cultural skills

Additional skills:

  • Commercial skills and understanding of the Real Estate Asset Management process
  • Experience in SAP or S/4HANA (usage and/ or maintenance)
  • Team working
  • Good negotiation skills with internal and externals counterparts, ability to build up trustful relationships in a multi-national context in a client-centric way
  • Proactivity and ability to reduce complexity and to find pragmatic solutions
  • French, Italian skills
