Senior Reward Business Partner

Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within the GHO HR & Organization aea we are looking for Senior Reward Business Partner. The unit GHO Reward defines and implements reward strategy, processes and systems for Group Head Office Functions, ensuring alignment with market practices and Group/Italy guidelines as well as compliance with law and regulatory requirements.


In particular:

  • Define and develop GHO overall compensation strategy and incentive framework
  • Collect and consolidate local input in order to balance and align the local needs with the Group/Italy requirements
  • Ensure that HR policies and programs regarding compensation are compliant with regulators decisions and rules and ensure monitoring of market trends
  • Execute HR compensation processes for GHO Functions (e.g. salary review, incentive systems, goal setting), in line with guidelines and leveraging on HR digital tools


Key responsabilities of the role will include:

  • Design and implement the main Compensation processes related to the Group Head Office Functions
  • Execute Group incentive systems (Short Term and Long Term Plans) for GHO Functions, according to all relevant and upcoming regulations (i.e. IVASS, Solvency II)
  • Manage goal setting cascading process on the basis of Group Guidelines & Strategy pillars and according to Group Strategic Planning and Business lines inputs
  • Execute the salary review process for GHO Functions, providing internal and external Compensation benchmark & studies together with Group Reward and Consultant firms
  • Develop and enhance all IT systems connected to the main Reward Processes
  • Provide support to GHO HR business partners for reward related topics
  • Liaise with Group and Italy for reward related topics, in particular with a focus on guidelines, deadlines and processes

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in HR
  • Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint


Nice to have 

  • Solid Reward background (at least 10 years’ experience)
  • Experience in the Financial Sector is a plus
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with international working environment and organizations
