Requirements:

  • Graduate / Master’s degree in finance / risk management or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience in an AIFM, audit or a bank
  • Mandatory: Strong experience in at least one of private debt, private equity or real estate
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, investigative and reporting skills
  • Overall knowledge and understanding of financial assets
  • Knowledge of quantitative and statistical models and methodologies
  • Well-developed organizational skills, flexibility, ability to deal with different departments within the organizational framework
  • Fluent in English language, both written and spoken; the knowledge of French or Italian is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry including the AIFM environment would be an advantage
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, FRM) would be an advantage
  • As part of GIL pre-hire background screening process, we apply a risk-based approach to determine the requirement of carrying out such checks on candidates, including criminal record checks. This role is judged to be sufficiently sensitive to warrant carrying out a criminal record check.   • Ability to detail technical information in order to produce concise and effective presentations
