Generali Operations Service Platform S.r.l.

GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1.000 people. 

The candidate will be part of the team in charge of the creation of the new GOSP Delivery Center focused on the provisioning of a core insurance solution at Group level. Such initiative is highly strategic and requires a team of professionals able to guide it from a managerial and operational point of view, acting as agents of the transformation. 

Insurance in a Box (IIAB) is a framework developed by GOSP in collaboration with the BUs, aiming at evolving current local IT landscape and increasing value generation through:  

  • Deploying standardized Platforms to facilitate adoption by Countries  

  • Operating a centralized Governance for the local programs 

  • Promoting «cloud first» approach to accelerate use of the cloud as secure and modern infrastructure easily scalable 

We are looking for a Transformation and Change management expert who will support the transformation journey through common knowledge bases, methodologies, and tools across the Business Units. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the communication plans across parties (Countries, Generali International, software and system integration vendors), monitoring the alignment of purposes with Program goals and strategy 

  • Define, develop, and monitor the benefits that will realize the strategic objectives of the Program 

  • Defining and tracking the key performance indicators for benefit realization 

  • Supervise the overall SDC reporting cycle to keep the program on time on budget and on quality 

  • Coordinate with the local change managers to facilitate and standardize the transition to the new way of working; potentially, implementing new business processes 

Requirements:

  • Strong PMO background, with key responsibilities in complex transformation programs (preferable expertise in the insurance domain) 

  • Good understanding of the management structure, politics, and culture of the organization 

  • Proven change management background expertise 

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and capabilities of managing very complex situations 

  • Good negotiation skills 

  • Fluent in English; proficient in Italian or willing to learn it 

 

Nice to have 

  • Academic degree in engineering management or business administration 

  • Experience in managing IT projects performed according to agile methodologies 

  • Professional experience in a leading consulting firm 

  • Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, solve problems independently and supervise others
